Cambodian Rehabilitation and Development Board
JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The
Cambodian Rehabilitation and Development Board of the Council for the
Development of Cambodia (CRDB/CDC) is mandated to act as the Royal
Government's coordinating body for managing external aid with the line
ministries and agencies and the development partners. As part of its
capacity development activities, CRDB/CDC is recruiting 6 qualified
professionals to fill the following vacant positions of its four
departments:
1. Aid Coordination Policy Department:
(2 Officers)
Under the supervision of the Deputy Director, the officer will:
-
contribute in
the process of on-going formulation of Government's aid coordination and
management policies to improve ODA effectiveness and
achieve greater alignment of ODA with the Royal Government of Cambodia's
development priorities;
-
in collaboration with line departments, review
program/project information, provide input to Harmonisation-Alignment-Results
Action Plan;
-
provide technical support to the Technical Working Group
(TWGs) on aid coordination and management issues;
-
participate and prepare minutes of the meetings and
summarize and translate various documents from English to Khmer/English,
when required.
2. EU & North American Aid Coordination
Department:
(2 Officers)
Under the supervision of the Department Director, the officers will:
-
review and record program/project proposals from
ministries/agencies to ensure that they are aligned with RGC's
development priority and provide recommendation on proposals to the
senior management;
-
validate and verify data of the Program/Project provided
by Development partners (DPs) in the Cambodia ODA Database,
-
Provide technical support to the Technical Working Group
(TWGs) on aid coordination and management issues;
-
participate and prepare minutes of the meetings and
summarize and translate various documents from English to Khmer/English,
when required.
3. NGOs Coordination Department: (1 Officer)
Under the supervision of the Department Director, the officer will:
-
Establish a good coordinating network with NGO community
and follow up for information on their projects/programs;
-
communicate with international NGOs to ensure that the
status of their project agreement is informed with the MOU with MFAIC;
-
provide technical support to the Technical Working Group
(TWGs) on aid coordination and management issues;
-
participate and prepare minutes of the meetings and
summarize and translate various documents from English to Khmer/English,
when required.
Qualification and
skill: All positions of the above three departments, candidates
must meet the following requirements:
-
Bachelor
Degree in Economics, Public Administration/Policy or a closely related
field;
-
Research and
analytical experiences/skills in socials development
-
Good
interpersonal and management skills and ability to establish and
maintain effective working relations/network;
-
Fluency in English and Khmer and is able to effectively
communicate, in speaking and writing; and
-
Computer
Literacy;
4. Information Management Department:
(1 Database Development Officer)
Under the supervision of the Department Deputy Director, the officer will:
-
in close
collaboration with the Sr. ICT Expert, contribute to update and
maintenance of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) Database
-
input,
validate and download data from ODA Database and participate in the
development of the migration program;
-
participate in
data manipulation and produce report, when required
-
provide
technical support to the Technical Working Group (TWGs) to verify and
validate data provided by DPs in the Web-based database;
Qualification & skill:
For the position of this department, candidates must meet the following
requirements:
-
Bachelor
Degree in IT or related field;
-
Experience in online databases (PHP, ASP/ASP. Net, SQL
Server, MS Access) or related subject;
-
Good
interpersonal and management skills and ability to establish and
maintain effective working relations/network;
-
Good
communication in English and Khmer, speaking and writing.

A monthly salary,
including a performance-related incentive, of up to US$ 170 and exciting
